At Helping Assist With Melis', our mission is to empower and uplift individuals facing hardships by providing compassionate support and holistic care. Founded in 2020 by Melissa Verge-Loutas following a deeply personal and transformative experience, our organization strives to show each person their inherent worth and potential for a better life.
We are committed to fostering unity within the community, practicing unconditional love, and maintaining loyalty to those we serve. Our comprehensive services include professional haircuts by licensed barbers and cosmetologists, nutritious food, quality clothing, and personalized peer recovery specialist support, all designed to restore dignity, encourage self-respect, and promote long-term well-being.
By creating an environment where people feel safe, respected, and comfortable, we aim to see humanity through the challenges of homelessness and addiction and provide complete care from start to finish. Through visual storytelling and community engagement, we invite others to witness the transformative impact of our work and join us in our commitment to making a meaningful difference.
